Dustin Rich is entering his 6th season as the head coach and his 9th season on the staff of the men's lacrosse team at Missouri State. During his tenure as head coach, Rich has helped the program to more than 30 wins, a 65% win percentage in conference, as well as a conference title and the program's 3rd trip to the MCLA National Championships.

During the 2017 season, Rich helped Missouri State to a 11-6 record overall and a perfect conference record of 9-0. During that span, Missouri State outscored its conference opponents an incredible 140-15. The conference title in 2017 was Missouri State's 4th overall (2004, 2009, 2010) and the program's third trip to the MCLA National Championships (2009, 2010).

Rich takes over the position after serving as the defensive coordinator from 2010 to 2012. In that time period, Missouri State had one of the toughest defensive line-ups in the country. During the two year stretch, the Bears held opponents to 9.9 goals per game while playing 10 teams that were ranked in the top 25 nationally. Missouri State has also had one of the best man-down units in the conference, holding opponents to 35% scoring. Rich has also helped coach 8 All-Conference players, including 3 First Team All-GRLC and 1 Honorable Mention All-American. Prior to being the defensive coordinator, Rich served as an assistant during the 2009-2010 campaign.

Rich played collegiate lacrosse at Missouri State where he was a three year letterman, captain for two years, and all conference player for two years while playing long stick midfield. Rich was also a captain during the 2009 season, which saw Missouri State make their first ever trip to the MCLA National Tournament in Denver, Colorado.
