Dustin Rich is entering his 5th season as the head coach and his 8th season on the staff of the men's lacrosse team at Missouri State.

In 2016, Rich coached the Bears to a 6 win season including a bid to the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference championship tournament. In 2016, the Bears also placed 10 players on the GRLC All-Conference teams - only one player short of the all time high of 11 players earning post-season honors.

Rich takes over the position after serving as the defensive coordinator from 2010 to 2012. In that time period, Missouri State had one of the toughest defensive line-ups in the country. During the two year stretch, the Bears held opponents to 9.9 goals per game while playing 10 teams that were ranked in the top 25 nationally. Missouri State has also had one of the best man-down units in the conference, holding opponents to 35% scoring. Rich has also helped coach 8 All-Conference players, including 3 First Team All-GRLC and 1 Honorable Mention All-American.

Prior to being the defensive coordinator, Rich served as an assistant during the 2009-2010 campaign.
Rich played collegiate lacrosse at Missouri State where he was a three year letterman, captain for two years, and all conference player for two years while playing long stick midfield. Rich was also a captain during the 2009 season, which saw Missouri State make their first ever trip to the MCLA National Tournament in Denver, Colorado. 
Rich is also one of the founding members of the Springfield Youth Lacrosse League; a league which gives middle school age kids in southwest Missouri the chance to learn the sport of lacrosse.

Kevin Hoffmeyer || Assistant Coach - Missouri State Men's Lacrosse

Offensive Coordinator Kevin Hoffmeyer enters his 3rd year with the Missouri State staff after coaching high school boys in Columbia, Missouri and playing collegiately at Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pennsylvania. Coach Hoffmeyer will be running the offensive side of the ball for the 2016-2017 season.

Prior to Missouri State, Hoffmeyer coached at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri from 2010-2014.  There, he spent the last 3 years as Head Coach, helping build a program of 20 boys to 38 and reach the playoffs for the first time in 4 years in 2014 with a 9-7 record.  While in Columbia,Hoffmeyer was enrolled in graduate school at the University of Missouri, earning his JD and MBA in 2014.  In the summer, he has worked with the LB3 travel team out of St. Louis.    
Hoffmeyer played collegiately for Chris Ryan at Mercyhurst College, a NCAA Division II school in Erie, Pennsylvania.  While he was at Mercyhurst, the Lakers went 32-8 and finished #4, #3, and #7 in the end of year poll.  Hoffmeyer graduated summa cum laude from Mercyhurst in 2010 with a B.A. in Political Science.  
In high school, Hoffmeyer played for Michael Sennett at Desmet Jesuit in St. Louis where he was awarded first team all-conference midfield as a junior. Hoffmeyer suffered an injury as played in only 2 games as a senior prior to graduation in 2007.

Cameron Bostwick || Offensive Coordinator - Missouri State Men's Lacrosse

Offensive Assistant Coach Cameron Bostwick enters his 4th year on the Missouri State staff after a successful  tenure as a player for the Bears. As a coach, Bostwick will primarily be working on the offensive side of the ball - in both individual and team development. 

Bostwick played collegiately for Missouri State from 2011-2014. Cameron was a 2 year started, a 2 year captain and the Student Leadership Board President for 2 years. In 2013 and 2014, Cameron was a staple on the Bears offensive unit as an attackmen. In 2013 Bostwick led the team in goals (21) and was 2nd in total points (24) in 8 games played. He ended 2013 with a GRLC Honorable Mention All-Conference award. In 2014 Bostwick again led the team in goals (37) and ws 2nd in total points (55) in 14 games played. Bostwick received a GRLC 2nd Team All-Conference award for his effort. During his career at Missouri State, Bostwick totalled 80 goals and 24 assists in 48 total games, giving him a 2.17 points per game average overall. 

In high school Bostwick was a 3 year starter, a 3 year captain, 1st Team All-State (2010) and was selected for the All-Nebraska travel team twice. Bostwick has twice participated in the Vail Shootout in Vail, Colorado as well.
